Wind has dropped but a coldish walk to Radcliffe – past frozen canal – for supplies. All busses running so getting back, with bags, no problem.
There is some News with Noughts: Gas costs may rise, because of recent cold weather (it’s global-warming really), by up to 400%. Then again it might not. (Yes, that’s in the news.)
German train engineers – Siemans – will probably build a £2,000,000.00p factory in Yorkshire, providing 700 jobs, post Brexit.
Dept. for Transport finds that some road-signs – whose numbers have doubled in past 20 years to 4,300,000 – are ‘pointless’ and many can be scrapped. (I think there are 4,300,000 in Radcliffe town centre!)
