Really warm and sunny for the early bike-ride. Met Office ‘Danger to life’, ‘hail, torrential rain and lightning’ weather warnings might have been slightly over the top!
News with Noughts is there: A pothole-damaged Range-Rover cost nearly £4,000.00p to put right.
Some doctors warn nhs needs £7,000,000,000.00p extra, yearly, to avoid getting worse. (Or?)
Meanwhile, some Stockport nhs staff can’t afford hospital parking fees so clog nearby streets. (Or?)
3,000 nhs patients now wait over a year for treatment. (Or?)
A ‘top economist’ says Brexit will cost British firms £2,000,000,000.00p not £20,000,000,000.00p as forecast by hmrc. Which goes to show how little these folk know about any business.
A bbc2 ‘boss’ reckons young folk (any folk!) are turning to Netflix, Amazon, etc., rather than beeb.
Strangely a beeb radio person fights a cut from £350,000.00p salary.
Which goes to show how little beeb know.

Warm-ish this morning but a spot or rain in air so came back from bike-ride just in case. Dull at moment – could chuck it down at any time. On Virgin fibre now and it’s pretty good (fast!). Uploaded small video to Youtube yesterday, which normally (Talk Talk) takes twenty minutes or so, all done in two minutes!
Actually raining then.
They’ve shoved Rexy to Kings Cross Station – wonder if they’ll bring it to ….
Bury South?
If not, why not?

Saturday, 26th May 2018.

Cooler this morning but okay for bike-riding. Heard a steamer up at Bury but sadly Witherslack Hall failed and the diesel pictured came out. It looks like new.
Our ‘net is faster today (fibre) and so far so good. And it is actually on. (Yippee!)

Friday, 25th May 2018.

‘Light showers’, they said on weather forecast. Got soaked up Bury earlier. Stopped to put coat on (normally used in Antarctica) and coming through tarmac edging was a nice little Japanese Knotweed shoot.
Stopped under a tree along Daisyfield; still got soaked.
It’s chucking it down on pic two but doesn’t really show.
The erm, other cyclist stayed in.

Thursday, 24th May 2018.

Cooler today but okay for an early bike-ride. And another, later, with Mrs c.
On the Fun Front the Institute for Fiscal Studies suggests ‘household’ tax increases of £2,000.00p per anum for families generally, ‘to keep nhs viable’. ifs is govern-mentally and eu funded. Nuff said eh?
Lords abolishment will be debated as online petition siggies up to 166,000.

Wednesday, 23rd May 2018.

Fine and sunny again but a really cold wind. I knew there were Dino’s around Radcliffe.
Gotta go a minute …
Mrs C’s bike arrived, assembled it.
Then along canal to Elton Res and back ..
… about 4 miles, not bad after not biking for years.
Bike from Argos – delivery – next day £4.00p. – okay general use.

Sunny and warm for early bike-ride – then a different mix – not on the Kenwood Chef this time!
Mmm … better mix, till Youtube say shift it.
I’ve an ‘Elvis style’ song about Hawaii. Don’t like using it as the place is in volcanic flames lately.
